Purpose

This page outlines Buzz Marketing's process for conducting real estate photo editing services. Its goal is to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in editing real estate photos to meet client expectations.

Application

For those involved in editing real estate photos, the best practices for real estate photo editing should be followed for every project undertaken by the company.

1. Initial Assessment

Review the client's requirements and preferences for the real estate photo editing project. Analyze the raw photos provided by the client to understand the scope of editing required.

2. File Organization

Create a dedicated folder for the project on the company's server or cloud storage. Organize the raw photos within the folder, labelling them appropriately for easy reference.

3. Editing Software Setup

Launch the designated photo editing software (ex. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom). Configure the workspace according to personal preferences and project requirements.

4. Image Enhancement

Start with basic adjustments such as exposure correction, white balance adjustment, and cropping. Next, apply advanced editing techniques to enhance the property's overall appearance, including colour correction, contrast adjustment, and sharpening.

Apply the HDR effect by blending all images of the same composition into one image. Apply the Sky Replacement effect to enhance the sky if it is grey or bad quality.

5. Perspective Correction

Use perspective correction tools to straighten vertical and horizontal lines, ensuring a visually appealing presentation of the property.

6. Object Removal

Identify and remove any distracting elements or imperfections from the photos, such as clutter, reflections, or blemishes.

7. Virtual Staging (if applicable)

Queue up virtual staging for the FIVERR guy.

8. Quality Assurance

Review each edited photo meticulously to ensure consistency in editing style and adherence to the client's specifications. Compare the edited photos with the original raw files to confirm the accuracy and quality of edits.

9. Client Feedback & Revisions

Send the edited photos to the client for review and feedback. Based on the client's feedback, incorporate any requested revisions or adjustments.

Maintiain clear communication with clients throughout the editing process to address any concerns or preferences.

10. Final Delivery

Once the client approves the edited photos, prepare them for final delivery. If necessary, compress the files to optimize file size without compromising quality. Upload the edited photos to the designated platform or deliver them via email, ensuring timely delivery.

Adhere to company guidelines regarding turnaround times and quality standards for real estate photo editing projects.

Ensure to continuously update skills and knowledge in photo editing software and techniques to deliver high-quality results consistently.
