Purpose

This page outlines how to request access from clients for any Google applications that we might need access to for website development, ads, or other projects.

Application

The Project Manager, who corresponds with the client and initiates the project, is responsible for requesting access to Google applications.

1. Requesting Access from the Client

Please ask the client to add the mccbuzz@gmail.com email to their Google Accounts at an Ownership level. We need this level of access to complete our tasks correctly. There are several canned responses on Teamwork that can be customized to request the following from the client. 

2. Articles to Send to the Client

The following articles can be sent to help the client walk through adding us. The second articles listed below are brief descriptions of each Google application so you can understand why we might need access to it.

3. Required Access for Projects

The required access will vary from project to project and client to client, but generally, the following is needed:

Website Project: Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console.

Google Ads: Google Business Profile, Tag Manager, Existing Google Ads Account (not required, but helpful for our team to assess prior performance), Google Analytics, Search Console.

SEO: Google Business Profile, Tag Manager, Existing Google Ads Account (not required, but helpful for our team to assess prior performance), Google Analytics, Search Console.

Multimedia or Graphic Design: None.
