Application

This procedure applies to the graphic designers and photo editors responsible for enhancing headshots for Buzz Marketing clients. It improves the quality and appearance of headshot images for various marketing and promotional materials.

1. Image Selection

Choose the headshot image to be airbrushed from the client's provided selection. Ensure the selected image meets the quality standards and is suitable for enhancement (it should be a RAW image file).

2. Initial Assessment

Evaluate the image for imperfections such as blemishes, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. Based on the client's preferences and intended use, determine the level of airbrushing required.

Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to copyright regulations when handling and editing images.

3. Digital Airbrushing

Follow the provided tutorial.

Open the selected image using the designated photo editing software (ex. Adobe or Photoshop). Use appropriate airbrushing tools to smooth skin, remove blemishes, and refine facial features.

To enhance overall appearance, adjust lighting, contrast, and colour balance as needed. Maintain a natural look while minimizing imperfections and preserving the subject's likeness.

4. Detail Enhancement

Focus on specific areas such as eyes, lips, and hair for additional detailing enhancement. Use techniques like sharpening, brightening, and enhancing highlights to make features more prominent and appealing.

5. Final Review

Zoom in to inspect the image for any remaining imperfections or artifacts. Ensure consistency and coherence in the airbrushing across the entire image. Make any final adjustments to perfect the headshot according to client specifications.

6. Client Approval

Present the airbrushed headshot to the client for review and approval. Ensure that any feedback or requested modifications are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and expectations regarding digital airbrushing.

7. File Export

Save the finalized airbrushed headshot in Google Drive in the appropriate file format(ex. JPEG, PNG) with high resolution. Organize the files in a structured manner for easy retrieval and future reference.

To enhance proficiency and quality of work, regularly update skills and stay informed about new techniques and tools in digital airbrushing.
