Purpose
This page will outline the best practices for Facebook ads.
Application
The Ads Manager should follow the best practices for Facebook ads to ensure efficiency and productivity.
1. Check Accounts Regularly
Make sure to check on every account regularly. This is especially important when an account or campaign first goes live.
2. Switch Creatives Every 3 Months
Make sure the creatives are switched up every three months to avoid creative fatigue with the ads. Set this as a milestone and schedule it on your calendar to ensure the creative is always fresh.
3. Look Deeper than Metrics
When doing ops, look deeper than just the metrics. While metrics are important, also ensure the current campaigns are meeting the client's goal.
4. Keep Audiences Updated
Facebook only allows the audience to have data from the past 90 days. In that case, it is essential to review audiences and update them as needed. This will help bring down CPMs and help the account overall.
5. Review the Account Budgets
The account's budget should be reviewed at least twice a month. In general, Facebook will not exceed the budget, but it is notorious for ads getting banned or paused for numerous reasons. That is why it is crucial to keep a close eye on them to make sure that they are really serving.
6. Ensure Naming Conventions are Correct
This is important so anyone who goes into the account can easily know what is going on. Thus, on the client's report, they know we are advertising the correct things. It also looks more professional.
